The Amsterdam-based Spliethoff Group announced the acquisition of majority interest in ForestWave, adding a seventh business unit to their portfolio and expanding the fleet of commercially-operated vessels to 147. Netherlands-based ForestWave operates 30 multi-purpose vessels, offering maritime and offshore logistics services across European waters and the Atlantic, with a focus on bulk, forest products, and offshore markets. Splietoff and Biglift vessels call the Great Lakes with their versatile fleet of project cargo and breakbulk capabilities.
